Getting started with Talorify takes less than a minute:

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.
2. When prompted, confirm by clicking Add extension.
3. In Chrome's top-right toolbar, click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions).
4. Find Talorify in the list and click the Pin icon so it is always accessible beside your address bar.

Once pinned, you can click the Talorify icon on any tab to open the side panel.

Talorify accepts base resumes in PDF format. For the highest extraction quality and accuracy, we recommend:

• Exporting directly from Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Apple Pages, or LaTeX as a text-based PDF.
• Avoiding scanned images or photographed paper resumes, as optical character recognition (OCR) can miss important formatting or keywords.

To upload: Open the Talorify side panel, click Upload Base Resume, and select your PDF. Free accounts can store up to 3 base resumes; Pro accounts can store up to 15 base resumes.

Talorify uses Chrome's native Side Panel API so it never obstructs your browsing experience:

1. Navigate to any job posting on LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or a direct company careers page.
2. Click the Talorify icon in your browser toolbar.
3. The side panel opens immediately on the right side of your window, leaving the job description clearly visible on the left.

Talorify automatically reads the job title, company name, requirements, and responsibilities directly from the active tab.

Yes, an account is required so Talorify can securely store your base resumes, manage your daily allowance, and sync your application history across devices.

You can sign in with one click using Continue with Google or create an account using your email address and a secure password. We verify email addresses to keep the service fair and prevent abuse.

After reviewing your tailored resume in the side panel, click the Download button:

• PDF: Exports a beautifully formatted, clean single or two-page PDF built specifically for seamless ATS parsing. Available on both Free and Pro plans.
• Word (.docx): Exports an editable document if you wish to make custom typography or visual tweaks before submitting. Available on Pro plans.

Downloads are processed locally and saved directly to your browser's default downloads folder.

Job application portals (like Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, and BambooHR) repeatedly ask for the same information. In Talorify, you can save your answers once under Saved Answers:

• LinkedIn profile, GitHub, and Portfolio URLs
• Salary expectation & target compensation
• Notice period & earliest available start date
• Total years of relevant experience
• Work authorization, visa status, and relocation willingness

When you're on a job application page, click Autofill Application in the side panel. Talorify automatically detects the form inputs and fills them in instantly.

Never. Talorify adheres to two strict rules regarding application forms:

1. Zero demographic autofill: Talorify will never fill out questions regarding race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status, or disability disclosures. You remain in full control of these responses.
2. Never auto-submits: Talorify never clicks the final "Submit Application" or "Send Application" button. You always review the filled form with your own eyes and submit it yourself.

When you submit an application, click Mark as applied in the side panel. Talorify saves the role, company name, date, link, and exact resume version you used.

Never. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or your resume text, and we do not run advertisements. Your resume text is used solely to generate the tailored materials you request.

All communication between your browser, our secure servers, and AI providers occurs over encrypted TLS connections.

Talorify uses Google's Gemini enterprise AI models to handle the language processing required for matching and tailoring. When you tailor a resume, only the extracted job description and your resume text are transmitted to perform that specific request.

Job postings are published across thousands of different websites—from global platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed to individual company portals on Greenhouse, Lever, SmartRecruiters, and Workday.

To detect job postings wherever you browse, Chrome requires the general page reading permission. Talorify only activates when you open the side panel on a job posting; it never logs or stores your browsing history.

If Talorify does not immediately highlight the job description:

1. Make sure you are on the actual job description page (not an overview search feed). On LinkedIn, click directly on the job card in the list to load its full details pane.
2. Refresh the browser tab once and reopen the side panel.
3. Manual Paste fallback: If the posting is behind an uncommon frame or dynamic modal, you can simply click Paste Job Description in the side panel and paste the text directly.

Chrome's native Side Panel API requires Chrome version 116 or newer:

• Open Chrome Settings → About Chrome to ensure your browser is up to date.
• Right-click the Talorify icon in the toolbar, select Manage extension, and toggle it off and back on.
• Restart Chrome. If you are on an enterprise-managed computer, ensure side panel permissions are not restricted by your organization.

You can delete individual base resumes or application entries directly inside the extension at any time with one click.
